CAREER IDENTITY REFORMATION IN THE TRANSITION TO LIFE AFTER SPORT

An assessment of identity statuses and psychosocial functioning among former NCAA college athletes

This study aims to assess the career identity structures of former college athletes and their psychosocial functioning post-sport life. Former college athletes will be invited to participate in a survey that assess their career identity status and well-being. This research aims at providing an in-depth understanding of the career identity status of former college athletes, and how such structures may influence their psychosocial functioning.
