The Liminars Research Panel is meant to facilitate data collection on former athletes and increase research in various areas of personal athlete development including identity development and transition experience post sport life. When you register to be a member of the Liminars Research Panel, you will be invited to participate in a number of studies that will examine various topics related to key developmental aspects of emerging adulthood and adulthood (e.g., your athletic experience, career identity formation, and transition to life after sport).

Examples of studies can be presented in the form of surveys and interviews. You will have the option to choose the number of studies you would be willing to be invited for per year. On occasion, our research studies will offer panelists the opportunity to be compensated for their participation. Information provided in these studies will help scholars and practitioners further understand key developmental aspects of current and former athletes as well as the transition process athletes may experience when they leave the game.
